We’re all Narcissists. Period.
It is a spectrum, just like Machiavellianism etc., and many of us actually score fairly high in Narcissism!

Now that you and everyone else are foaming at the mouth, finger ready to tap the “reply” button…

Today’s DM isn’t intended to offend or hurt you, but instead to invite you to self-awareness and introspection.

We’ve all known “that guy” who incessantly talks about themselves. Every little subject you mention, they’re right there to rope themselves into it in some fashion. Any conversation, they’ve got an opinion.
They tend to be frustrating to deal with!

All we must strive for is a bit more awareness.

Talking to a friend or stranger, yes, seek for common ground to stoke the embers of conversation, but ask them question after question — and really listen to them. Absorb them. Drink them in and seek to understand them.

That is the essence of an interesting person — they are interested in YOU! Very few people are “just” interesting in and of themselves.
