I know it’s unoriginal. Oh well!

Today — LIKE CLOCKWORK — the UP of Michigan got its infamous “second winter.”

Last week? One morning it was -1f when the sun came up and then ~50f in the afternoon.

Today? Well, we currently have 5 inches of snow and have about 7 more hours of snow expected.

Then tomorrow into the weekend, 40s and 50s!

It’s hilarious, because everyone willingly lives where they live, and for those of us in the Midwest, there’s never any shortage of thousands of angry people complaining about the spring snows in late Feb, March, April — and sometimes even May! (As a child, I actually remember a slight snowfall in June once!)

Here’s the rub, the lesson:

You’re gonna have the snow falling whether you love it or hate it.

One of my former bosses, Jason, used to like to tell whiny employees “You can be mad in the shoes you’re in or happy in the shoes you’re in. Your choice.”

I agree and I remember that expression from 15 years ago.

“You can be mad about the foot of snow or happy about the foot of snow, but the snow’s still gonna be there!”
