Work

Daily Meditation #195–9/5/2022

Scrubbing toilets is scrubbing toilets…it’s work.

Life is good, always. Some days are simply better than others.

However, not always are all tasks and jobs enjoyable. We should absolutely endeavor to seek enjoyment in all things we do — especially the things we must do.

Cleaning.
Cooking and eating.
Staying in shape.
Balancing our budget.

But, even in the midst of these myriad responsibilities, sometimes work is just that…

Work.

And that is okay.

Not every job you have will excite or challenge you.
Not every task will be a thrill.
Scrubbing toilets is still scrubbing toilets.

We must find our balance, Zen, or moments in prayer during these little inconveniences and accept that work is work.

Just get it done and move forward.
