Weeds

Daily Meditation #183–8/24/2022

I don’t literally mean “get in the weeds,” by the way…

“In the weeds” matters in relationships.
If people are important to you, you know what’s going on with them.

You know “their weeds” and should know how to get into them.

Instead of saying “How are you?” or “Did you have a good day?” Be more specific.

Ask for the details of something in their life.

“Didn’t you just get promoted? Tell me about that! Enjoying the responsibilities?”

“So tell me about this new boyfriend of yours — I’ve heard he’s quite a great guy.”

“You and Carolyn just bought a house, right? How did that go? Nice place?”

People know very quickly how important they are to you.
Show them how important they are with your curiosity.
