Daily Meditation 1,075–2/14/2025

Obviously it’s V Day and that means I need to be sappy and corny and write about love, right?!

It’s a simple meditation: be more appreciative every single day of those you love.

Your spouse.
Parents.
Children.
Pets.
Close friends.

Whomever it is in your life, it’s very easy on Valentine’s to get a card, flowers, and some chocolates the literal ONE day a year it’s expected of you.

It’s a bit more challenging to remember to be thankful when they fold laundry (or just get it in the basket), cook, put dishes away without asking, vacuum, choose sitting to enjoy time beside you instead of gaming, etc.

I believe that every single day we should thank our spouse (and loved ones!) for something they did for us.

And it doesn’t hurt to cook them an extra nice meal or get them flower or a “just because” card every now and then too!

Happy Valentine’s Day. Love hard, love often — they may not always be there.
