In the comments, leave me a short story about the invitation that this open door presents — how does it feel and what lay beyond?

A short DM for today.

There are so many moments in our lives where we feel adrift, aimless. We feel like a great ship in the middle of the ocean with torn, tattered, and useless sails in the dead of night — the nebulae, Milky Way, and thousandfold constellations across the sky but doubly mirrored on the glassy sea. It feels as if you’re afloat in space with no discernable direction.

It is not a good feeling.

And there are equally many moments where, while adrift in a “just a job” or “meh” relationship fooling around there are ample nudges and signs to move along.

Some of us (to be fair, most!) are totally oblivious. We are so wrapped up and trapped up by daily life and uncourage that we fail to see the “signs” trying to show us the way.

All we need is to be a bit more aware. To have a bit more courage.
When that job opportunity arises — less pay today but more flexivity tomorrow — to take it and the risks.

When that LDR with the woman from another country where she is so compatible…to take it. Hop the plane, meet her, and see what happens.

When the odd sense arises to try church as you pass by — the service “so happens” to be now, the doors are open, and you’re feeling…
