Success
Daily Meditation #219–9/29/2022
If you want to be successful, study the topic. Be openminded and listen to those who are successful.
By reading these meditations, you are hungry for success in various realms.
While I, personally, may not be successful relative to others like Schwarzenegger, Musk, or Mother Teresa, I am successful relative to myself a week ago, a year ago, and more.
Success is subjective and relative in nature. But the greatest way to increase your success is to focus on two main things:
Your perception.
Your gratitude.
When you perceive what you have accomplished as successful, then you are successful.
Maybe you didn’t get the A on the test you studied for. You got a B+. But it’s better than the C+ you got last time.
Perhaps you didn’t close 30 sales this year. You got 27. But, still more than the 24 last year.
When controlling your perception, also learn to add a filter of gratitude to it.
You got into a car accident…but no one was injured. Gratitude.
Your biggest client threw a curveball request last minute…but you still have the contract. Gratitude.
You were diagnosed with cancer…but it’s treatable and you have a good second chance at life. Gratitude.
Success only matters relative to who you were and the behaviors you act out on your becoming who you aspire to be.
