Daily Meditation 1,010–12/10/2024

As is often the case, philosophical thoughts sometimes develop from self-desire. Today is no different as I stand to benefit from these considerations!

The above expression is obviously a bit of humor, but we can take it to heart. Silence is golden.

Here’s the Meditation:

You don’t always need an answer for everything.

Anyone who’s ever met a teenager or budding university student probably has encountered this “knowitall” attitude.

While men generally tend towards solution-based thinking, it can become a bit of a plague for anyone.

Desiring solutions to problems is something EVERYONE wants.

A leaky roof.
A recent divorce.
A drinking problem.
Coming up short on finances.
A returning illness.
Breaking up.
A final warning at work.

We ALL have problems, and all problems need to be solved, certainly.

But don’t always need to leap right to solving when oftentimes, people sharing said problems may just want to be listened to.
