This phone NEVER would’ve broke on me!

My phone finally bit it, today.

“When it rains, it pours” as they say!

We had just returned home from a (much needed) vacation yesterday, when I dropped my beloved — and ancient — S10+ Samsung…
Directly, screen-first, onto the metal corner of a table leg on the floor. I’ve had this dinosaur of a smartphone for 5 years. It was getting so old that generally the battery only lasted about 2 hours, tops — this made longer trips honestly a little stressful…
so of course it died the day after a longer trip!

The first thing I felt was disappointment.
The second feeling which crept in was annoyance.

“Now I’ve got to spend hours in a Verizon. They’re going to ask all kinds of questions. I might have to wait hours before they get to me. They’re going to take forever to transfer my data. I’m going to have to relog into all my apps and accounts. It’s going to be expensive.”

And so on.

The sensation of frustration gradually grew worse as he told me my old phone was a 512g version, which was “uncommon” in memory and that my new phone only came in half that size…
