Leave a comment — what are your 2025 New Year Resolutions?

I know so many of them are the usual “generics” such as:

To lose 50 pounds.
To get up earlier.
To read more.
To eat better.
Et cetera.

(And don’t mistake “generic” as a bad thing — all of these aspirations are wonderful!)

Here are a few of mine for 2025:

To read 75 books.
To count my calories every day.
To get back to 170 pounds (I usually float around 180–185).

To write a minimum of 100 words per day in one of my myriad creative universes. (Here’s my Medium for my finished fantasy novel — I have 4–5 others in the works, but need a publisher)
To do a 36 hour fast once per week.

And so on. There are many more.
I typically have 20–30 “resolutions” each year.

As you know, I love to reframe stuff, so here’s the reframe for NY Resolutions:

If your resolution is a target (“lose 50 pounds”) it’s…
