Daily Meditation 512–7/22/2023

Can’t believe I found a levitating man!

Why do you need constant petting, stroking, and masturbation of your ego by doing good deeds?

We donate money to a charity…
Then write a gloating post.

We go volunteer…
Then share endless pictures talking about it.

We stand for a movement, a group, or a belief…
Then adorn our social media in their colors, symbols, etc.

We buy a meal for a homeless person…
Then share the video onto TikTok.

Every day, all of us shout from the digital rooftops “look what a good person I am! I represent you, too! Look at the time I spent doing good! I DO GOOD STUFF!”

Still do the good deeds! Absolutely, unequivocally, and daily.

But as the Nike motto goes, “Just DO It.”

You don’t need to share every beneficial hiccup or fart you create for the good of mankind. Feeling proud sometimes is natural, certainly. But, just do good things with no expectation of good in return.

No expectation of receiving good back is how we must aim to be!

Go forth, do good, and expect nothing in return.
