Misunderstanding

Daily Meditation — 4/6/2022

You project yourself onto everything in the world.

Your current mood.
Political leanings.
Your history.
Your culture.

Every facet of your life is in varying degree projected onto how you perceive.

If someone’s post is angering to you, then you are looking to be outraged.
If you think someone is a grifter, then they are a grifter.
If a person is inspiring, then they are inspiration.

This projection doesn’t make you inherently correct or incorrect. It just is.
Just like it doesn’t make that person right or wrong or good or bad. They just are.

The grifter to you may be someone else’s salvation. Their motivator. They could be someone else’s father. Or ex. Or their abuser.

Your projection is not truth, but is your individual reality.

We must go forth into the world understanding our place, our biases, and knowing all things are neither good nor bad, they just are
Until we make them into something.
