Just Be.

Daily Meditation — 3/16/2022

You’re rushing here and there, scurrying like a rat.
Eyes wide, anxiety present in every movement and thought.
Frantically refreshing the news, your feeds and portfolios for every nuance and update.

Look at the birds, the squirrels…
Place yourself in their fur and feathers.

They have no inkling of the wars of man, of the struggles, of our anxieties. They don’t grasp their fragility and that death may come for them any moment…

They just are and do what they need to do.

So, just be and do what you need to do.
Stop ruining existence with the frivolous and constant bickering of news.

Just as you don’t need to watch a clock for time to continue on in the background, so you don’t need to bear witness to everything for it to continue without you, either…

Just be and do what you need to do.
