Daily Meditation 741–3/9/2024

We discuss all manner of bits of thought I have about the journey of Eudaimona — the self-blossoming, the pursuit of joy, the Infinite Mountain. They are distilled, daily here in our Daily Meditations, and some morsels are from the coming book, YouDaimonia.

Now, it’s important to note that while I, myself, have been a devout Christian most of my life, I generally avoid making the DMs overtly Christian in their content as I want all people to have access to these without “worry” they are exposed to something they don’t “believe” or aren’t interested in. While I, personally, may try to absorb from all voices all over, there’s no guarantee that others enjoy that…
Ergo, the DMs are generally fairly neutral.

Today’s will be slightly more religious, but bear with me.

There is a simple message in the Christian world: Jesus Loves Me. He loves us, and we should love Him. By extension, we should love everyone.
Very straightforward.

Here’s the thing, though:

Loving Jesus is easy.
It’s loving Judas that is hard.

Any of us can love someone who is good to us. Someone who loves us. Who takes care of us.
Anyone can love someone who wants what is good for us. It’s selfless.
