“I Deserve”

The last couple days, my wife has been watching some episodes of “90 Day Fiancée.” I’m not watching it, so we are perfectly clear (lol!), but can hear snatches of it and very occasionally have to stop to see what on Earth is happening when something insane is said.
Anyway, there’s a woman who is perhaps 20 or so dating an American man maybe 25ish in age. She’s not especially attractive (in my opinion), doesn’t seem to have any skills or abilities, and continues to make it very, very clear she desires two things:
- Money, and lots of it.
- Fame — to be recognized on the street.
She told her soon-to-be husband she aspires to be a famous model…and then told a modelling agency she hadn’t ever even looked into the requirements to become a model, how to model, poses, etc. Nothing.
Well, as I walked by wifey watching it, today the woman sounded like she was lambasting this poor American man for not buying a wedding dress that was $50,000 (if I heard correctly). And the other day, she remarked she “expected” $10,000 a month in spending money, saying “It’s a reasonable number — it’s not like I said $100,000.”
