Horoscopes
Daily Meditation #158–7/30/2022
People will forever twist and bend you to fit whatever box they want to stick you in.
They will ignore the fact you are a structure, a brick home where each brick is a different element of your whole, each one a different view, belief, piece of your history and so on.
Someone opposed to your political views will take your words and twist them into what they may not be. Then they say “See — they are fools.”
Someone secretly in love with you may take your actions — a grin, a glance — and twist it to say “I knew it! They are interested in me!”
When you meet someone who believes in horoscopes and they ask you your birthday, tell them a different birthday than your true one.
They will inevitably twist what they know about you to conform to their beliefs.
Then reveal your legerdemain and tell them another fictitious birthday. They will do it again.
No matter what, people will bend others in ways they shouldn’t be bent in order to try to understand them. To place the entire person into a box that should only fit a small piece of them.
True understanding of one another comes not in the whole of the person but in the parts.
Seek understanding of one another with openmindedness and seeking of their individual truths.
You don’t need to change your beliefs or bow to their religions, but you can improve the manner through which you perceive and understand the world as a whole by simply better understanding how they as one individual perceive their beliefs in their parts.
