Daily Meditation 940–9/28/2024

Firstly a lovely disclaimer. I am not a dietician. I am not a doctor. I am not a physical trainer. I’m just some idiot online with some observations who tries to be helpful by writing these Daily Meditations.

Every once in a while, we drift these DMs into the more “practical” realm of health with slightly more “actionable” thoughts and observations.

When you go to your doctor telling them about your stomach aching, they probably ask a lot about your pain, and then prescribe you antacids, medicine, maybe stick a camera on a tub down your throat (or shove one up your butt, in some cases), and may even tell you “CANCER!” with some chemo etc. Or give you a shot. Or refer you to a stomach specialist.
Et Cetera!

When you bring your lovely cat to the vet because they’re sick, maybe weak or throwing up, they probably ask “What did he eat?”

Isn’t that a little interesting?

A veterinarian understands that many ailments of animals are related to their diet! Yes, they may give some medicine (depending), but they also are quite likely to “prescribe” dietary changes to them.

And that’s really the Meditation today.
