Daily Meditation 759–3/27/2024

Everyone wants fame…until this is literally waiting for you EVERYWHERE you go, EVERY day, for the rest of your life.

Mick Jagger has a quasi-famous quote about fame along the lines of “Fame doesn’t really sit well on anyone’s shoulders.”

A lot of people — young people nowadays perhaps more than ever before — seem to desire fame and fortune. And yet, it would seem Jagger’s quote rings true. And in my opinion, ol’ Mick is about the most famous, so perhaps he is most qualified…

Shia Labouf.
Winona Ryder.
Johnny Depp (kind of).

And they weren’t the first and will certainly not be the last.

The thought of the day in this Daily Meditation is this:

Imagine a life where, sure, you have no struggles — or at least the struggles you have today.

Sure, you’re not working a 40 hour work week at a job you’re, on the best of days, ambivalent towards…
