How do you feel when you do something nice but then are not reciprocated with so much as a “thank you?” It annoys you. Maybe not quite the annoyance of an incessant and apparently invincible summer-fly who is obsessing over your forehead as you study outside…but it’s still frustrating and we may think overmuch on it.
