Daily Meditation #432–5/3/2023

When you complain and the world doesn’t go your way, you have contributed 0. Don’t do that.

There has developed a very “Someone else’s responsibility” attitude.

We are willing to happy change our social media profile picture.
To adorn our media with a banner filled with symbols, flags, or proclamations.
We whine to our friends about the state of things.

But we are unwilling to really take action.
To make the changes needed.

Complaining fixes nothing.
Doing moves the needle.

If you only complain about problems, applying the cheap veneer of “support” with social media banners and symbols, you aren’t really doing anything.

When things don’t change in the way you desire, you have no right to be upset if all you’ve done is complain.

You must do.

I don’t mean be violent or “take matters into my own hands” in an ominous way!

I mean lead.
I mean support the leader if you will not lead. Support them really, truly, with your time and resources.

But, ideally, try to lead and be the change you perceive is needed.
