Daily Meditation #420–4/21/2023

Interesting this might be what Gen Z looks like someday.

While this is primarily for the youngest among us — teens and very young adults — we all can benefit.

You’re going to face many decisions in your life.

Some of them, today, you believe you know what is best.
Many of them, today, you believe you know what is right.

And maybe you do.

But what if you don’t?

Some decisions will be so vast and enormous that they could have consequences every day of the rest of your life.

I am not trying to put doubt in you.

I am inviting you to consider if you may be wrong.
I am inviting you to think out the consequences 1 week, 1 month, 1 year, 5 years, 10 years out!

So, talk with your elders.
Talk with those who have seen life far more than you.

Heed their words.

You don’t have to listen.

But you should reconsider moving forward in major choices before consulting with those who have walked the Earth decades more.

Read the mistakes of our forebears.
Ask your grandparents.
Talk to your bosses of age.

Don’t allow preventable mistakes to own your future.
