Yesterday, the news broke that former president Joe Biden has terminal and metastasized cancer. Now, whether or not he know a year ago, three years ago, if it was hidden from the population (and, if so, why) is all politics — we don’t do politics, here.
Whether you like Biden or not, it’s saddening for him and his family, regardless his age. I pray for them all.
Today, one of my longest time podcasters also announced he has the exact same cancer in the same stage. Scott Adams suspects he has until summer to live. For many years I listened to his morning show while jogging or at the gym. He is a tremendously funny guy and I was pretty sorry to hear it.
I am also praying for ol’ Scott’s suffering to be softened, mentally and physically.
ALSO TODAY my father — 81 — went in for the exact same body part to be checked and they removed polyps to be biopsied! Imagine my slight feeling of being unnerved!
So, certainly, I am praying hard for my dad!
Here’s the meditation:
We all die.
My dad is 81. Biden is 82.
They’re both, in raw statistical terms, beyond the mean life expectancy.
Adams is just 67, well under it.
