You live in a state of denial.
Denial about the incredible fragility of your body, the vessel your soul is carried around in.

Not long ago, the world was in a frantic uproar, and anyone’s sneeze was viewed as if it were a potential murder suspect.

And you and everyone else cowered before the invisible foe.

We treat death as if it were some horrible arch-nemesis. Some God that wishes us ill and waits to hurt us at any moment.

While it is true, Death is around every corner and hanging upon every minute, it isn’t a God.

Death isn’t a nemesis.

Death means no ill, and isn’t good or bad.

Death is just…Death.

So quickly do we shush the voice of our mind as we lay sleepless in the jet black hours of the night, fleeting thoughts of ourselves, our parents, our spouses, or our children dying.

We silence that primordial voice which is simply trying to remind you;
Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.

Each breath your child or your lover or your old, stooped parents take in could be a breath ridden with disease.

That’s life.

No matter how many vegetables you eat, how much you meditate, how many miles you run every day, or how many vitamins and drugs you take…
