Daily Meditation #425–4.26.2023

Many of us are no better than the dead leaves of autumn, flailing in the winds of the world, easy to rip away from our ideals.

We must certainly endeavor to have a level of pliability and tolerance of other ideals — think politics, religion, or pizza toppings — but we should ultimately have a deep seeded conviction for the things of the utmost import in our lives.

Many of the most important elements of our daily existence must not fall prey to the whims of the world and narratives it will create.

We find meaning through these elements — especially spirituality, whatever that may look like to you — and if that foundation is weak, then much of the rest of us will crumble away.

So, hold conviction in these beliefs and defend them.
