Whinin’.
We all complain, whine, whinge, or “bitch” about things. Period. We cannot help ourselves — I think it’s only human to complain, sometimes!
Here’s where that “Subconscious Catch” I mentioned comes in:
If you catch yourself complaining about something…
- Is it going to help?
- Can you do something about it?
If both are “no,” and you’re complaining just because “it feels good,” then you should stop.
Complaining when it won’t be beneficial? Just nails on a chalkboard.
Complaining when you’re not going to fix it? Wasteful.
That’s it. Complaining “feels good,” but it can be like salt — just the right amount feels good, but too much and the meal (your day!) is ruined.
So be mindful of your whining!
