Battlefield of the Mind

Daily Meditation 470–6/10/2023

Prince was once quoted saying “There’s a war going on. The battlefield’s in the mind. And the prize is the soul,” when giving a speech where he discussed the uprising and incredible power of the internet back in 1999.

This is increasingly true and increasingly across more facets of our lives as more politics, more technology, more “quality of life” improvements, and just more mind-numbing-made-easy prevails over us.

Everything is easier and faster. But is it actually “better” for us?

Today’s meditation is short, but here’s the bottom line:

Pay attention to what owns your time. What owns your time likely holds the keys to your soul.

Be cognizant of your soul. Of your mind. Of your time.
