Daily Meditation 732–2/29/2024
Thank you for continuing to enjoy these Meditations! I am currently traveling, so these DMs may be shorter in length and I may not reply to messages as readily as normal. Keep on enjoyin’!

Traveling is filled with myriad inconveniences.

Angry, road raging drivers who won’t play nice.
Rude people at the airport.
Rude stewards and stewardesses on flights.
Messed up seating where you and your partners are scattered all over.
Serious dehydration — do I stay hydrated? Or do I let myself hydrate but have to pee constantly?
Hours (or days!) of bad hygeine…and being surrounded by others in the same predicament.
Exorbitantly price gouged basics, such as $4 bottles of water or $15 sandwiches.
Being crammed between 2 strangers — one with a squirming, squealing toddler and the other with a sick dog.

But perhaps most of all…

The infamous delay.

You got up at 3am in order to make your first flight — which was a 3 hour drive away. When you arrived, you paid $50 for long-term parking. Then, despite arriving early, your first flight was delayed…after TSA damaged your book in your backpack. Arriving to your layover — originally 5 hours — they announced a delay…
Of 6 more hours!
Tired, dehydrated, hungry, you finally land at your final destination, 7 timezones…
