Admiration and Idols

If you are going to follow or admire a man, be sure they are a good man.

One is not “good” based on what they say and their words, per se — anyone can be “good” with words alone.

They are good based on how they act.

Do they help?
Do they lead well and not mislead others to catastrophe?
Are they honest? Honest in their dealings and trustworthy?

Few men are “good.”

Be wary to admire men as humanity is rife with corruption and malevolence…
But if you will be a disciple of another, be damn sure of their character, as yours will be tied to them.
