Daily Meditation — 5/11/2022

Wanting good things for those who love you and whom you love is easy. It is like enjoying a good piece of chocolate or sleeping with no alarms to sound off.

Wanting good things for everyone can be easy as well.
This is a platitude.
Wind.
Empty words until you act in a manner consistent with it. Hold a door, give a compliment, or wave at a stranger. Though small, these behaviors are earmarks of one who desires good in the world.

However, wanting good for those who doubt you, those who have wronged you, or those who speak ill of you behind your back…

Wanting good for those who hurt you, that is the truest test of your goodness.
